Eppendorf manufactures research through production-scale New Brunswick brand equipment for culture growth, detection and storage. Products include biological shakers, cGMP-compliant fermentors to 3,000 Liters and cell culture bioreactors to 650 Liters, CO2 incubators, ultra-low temperature freezers and automated plate preparation equipment. Eppendorf also provides a range of contract research services, and has an active used equipment program.

Originally established in 1946 as the New Brunswick Scientific Company, the New Brunswick brand equipment is manufactured in Enfileld, Connecticut USA. The New Brunswick Scientific Company was acquired by Eppendorf in 2007, with sales & service offices, as well as a network of distributors, strategically located across the globe.
