The better the mold, the better the product. Kingtec Tool & Molding has a history of designing and building sophisticated tooling used to manufacture high performance components. Our tooling capability comes not only from state-of-the-art machine tools, but from our restless pursuit of excellence and strict adherence to old craftsmanship. For example, while most tool makers rely on CNC milling and EDM to work on mold cavities and parting surfaces and finally polish them, we give priority to grinding where necessary. That is because grinding yields both superior dimensional precision and surface finish, which saves the polishing step and thus eliminates human errors.

Therefore, the experienced staff at Kingtec guides a single part or project from start to finish ensuring the finished product meets both your print and your expectations. When something needs to be outsourced, we only use the most experienced local suppliers with quality certificates, such as ISO9001 and TS/16949. As a result, we are able to submit full set of PPAP Level 3 documents where required.

Those include modern CNC machining and metal injection molding, as well as conventional gear fabrication and sheet steel roll forming. There used to be a case where our customer required CNC machining to manufacture a complex shaped part. In the next year, their volume ramped up sharply to justify the change of fabrication process. So we made a tooling to manufacture the part via MIM process, leading to a 70% cut from the machining cost.
