For example, while most tool makers rely on CNC milling and EDM to work on mold cavities and parting surfaces and finally polish them, we give priority to grinding where necessary. That is because grinding yields both superior dimensional precision and surface finish, which saves the polishing step and thus eliminates human errors.

There used to be a case where our customer required CNC machining to manufacture a complex shaped part. In the next year, their volume ramped up sharply to justify the change of fabrication process. So we made a tooling to manufacture the part via MIM process, leading to a 70% cut from the machining cost.
