FPGAs

Stratix® series FPGAs are Altera's highest density, highest bandwidth devices, ideal for high-end applications. CPLDs

HardCopy ASICs

Pin- and package-compatible with Stratix series FPGAs, Altera’s HardCopy series ASICs enable system designers to take their designs from the prototyping stage to volume production quickly and with minimal risk. Designers can create one design with one methodology, one tool, and one set of IP cores. With HardCopy ASICs, designers can deliver their products 9 to 12 months faster vs. other ASIC methodologies.

Common Design Environment

Altera’s devices are supported by a common design environment—the Quartus® II design software. Quartus II software is the industry’s number one software in performance and productivity for CPLD, FPGA, and HardCopy ASIC designs.
