In 1957 Paxton Products introduced the first high performance supercharger to the racing industries, an air compression device enhancing the engine's speed and performance. In the midst of the 1970’s energy crisis Paxton Products utilized the same high performance, energy efficient air delivery technology for commercial and industrial applications, introducing the first centrifugal blower for industrial applications. This new technology, using the principles of the already proven supercharger would now be driven by an electric motor and pulley system producing large amounts of air flow with a minimum amount of energy.
