This GTSchmidt impact marking press is being used to mark steel inserts in an automated application. The parts are introduced into the marking area by means of an air operated pusher being fed by a vibratory bowl feed system.
Schmidt offers both impact marking presses and squeeze action marking presses that can indent a whole legend in one stroke. Press marking machines are great for marking mild steel, tool steel, and soft aluminum parts.
