PowerLift® Magnets
DESIGNED FOR THICK, NON-FLEXING MATERIAL
These compact, yet powerful, Rare Earth lift magnets can be used on flat or round surfaces and contain an internal release on/off device that does not contact or damage the surface of the part being lifted. Permanent magnetic lifts also eliminate the fear of dropping the load being lifted due to power failures.

IMIs Continuous-Clean Housings are ideal for remote magnet installation locations, applications requiring frequent cleaning and fully automated processing systems. The cleaning process is continuous and does not require the product flow to be stopped. The cleaning cycle is completed in a matter of seconds. The air-actuated stripper seal assembly discharges collected tramp metal into a leak-proof enclosure with a discharge chute that ensures clean operation and isolation of possible hazardous materials.

Shown here is our custom lifting solution for a components supplier of commercial lawn mowing equipment that was having difficulty manually lifting and maneuvering heavy, pre-cut sheet metal into their press brake.
This solution utilizes Industrial Magnetics, Inc.''s cylinder actuated, Rare Earth Transporter® magnetic tooling with a Gorbel® Easy Arm™ that allows the worker to magnetically pick up and hold sheet metal while easily positioning it into the press brake.
With this magnetic lifting solution, the customer was able to realize a 150% gain in output, use 50% fewer human resources in part production and provide a safer and more ergonomic work environment.
