The New Keyence SZ Series, Type 3 Safety Laser Scanner, allows users to configure protection areas anywhere, even in complex-shaped zones and dangerous areas. Its compact body and light weight help facilitate installation and save space without compromising quality or detection range. Despite its compact size, the SZ Series can create a protection zone up to 4.2m (13.77'') with a warning zone area projecting as far as 10 m (32.80'') from the scanner.

The new SL-V Safety Light Curtain sets a new standard by incorporating highly-visible indicators to facilitate set-up and easily see the current operating status. The tough, slim body is space saving and conforms to IP-65 and IP-67 rating standards which allow the sensor to work well in harsh environments. World''s first edge-to-edge mounting and side-exit cabling allow the curtain to fit perfectly into equipment, with the cabling tucked neatly away from danger. Operators can immediately determine whether the curtain is active, preventing situations where the beam is accidentally blocked. The easy-to-see indicators emit green lights when the beam axes are properly aligned, facilitating set-up. Red lights will indicate the location of a curtain block if the beam axes become misaligned, dirty, or blocked, making troubleshooting easier than ever.
