The Tantec Group is a privately held company founded in 1974, and is a leading manufacturer of standard and customized Corona and Plasma systems for surface treatment of plastics and metals to enhance adhesion properties. Tantec surface treaters are sold worldwide to end-users and OEMs through more than 30 partners and through our own branch offices. Tantec A/S is the headquarters located in Lunderskov, Denmark, in a purpose-build factory from 1989, housing sales, service, research and development of specialized mechanical and electronic surface treatment equipment.

Tantec develops, manufactures and markets innovative Corona and Plasma Surface Treaters to improve adhesion properties on plastics and metals, by raising the Surface Energy.

Tantec offers a product line of standard Corona and Plasma Treaters, as well as Customised Treaters to suit any process line.

The purpose of corona treatment is to optimise the adhesion properties on polymer-based materials.
The low surface energy of polymer-based substrates often leads to poor adhesion of inks, glues and coatings which by nature present significantly high surface energies.

RotoTEC offers a cost-effective conveyor system for optimising the adhesion properties of printing inks and coatings onto plastic products made from low surface energy polymers like PP, PE, PC, PS and others.
