Save energy in buildings by implementing IACS
Featured Product from AENOR
Improving energy efficiency in buildings by implementing industrial automation and control systems (IACS).
The recently published UNE-EN ISO 16484-1 standard facilitates energy savings in building HVAC, specifying the phases needed for the development of a IACS project.
These phases for implementing building automation and control systems include:
- Determination of the project requirements and preparation of design documents, including technical specifications.
- Detailed design of functions and hardware.
- Installation and start-up of the IACS.
- Delivery, acceptance and completion of the project.
It also lays out the requirements for documenting the status of the facilities, and the training requirements.
For its application, it refers to the following consultation standards as a necessary supplement: UNE-EN ISO 16484-5:2022, UNE-EN ISO 16484-6:2020, UNE-EN ISO 16484-2:2005 and ISO/IEC 14763-2:2019.
