Budgit Top Running Formed Channel End Truck
Budgit formed-channel end trucks are designed with safety, reliability, and performance in mind. Built for single-girder applications, Budgit end trucks are available in both under-hung and top running styles. Whether you need push-type, hand-geared, or motorized configurations, Budgit  end trucks are an economical and easy-to-install option for any crane system or application.

Top-Running Formed Channel Features Include:

  • End truck frames feature a steel channel box section 
    weldment for a strong, rigid construction
  • End truck plates serve as rail sweeps for bridge 
    protection and anti-drop stops, as required by 
    CMAA specifications
  • Standard truck wheelbase is 4’6” or 6’0”, suitable 
    for spans of 36 ft. or 48 ft. respectively, meeting the 
    CMAA span-to-wheelbase ratio limit of 8 to 1
  • Wheels are 8” diameter and made of high-strength, 
    ductile iron with a hardness of 187- 255 BHN
  • Wheels have a cylindrical tread designed to fit 20# 
    to 45# ASCE rails
  • Width between wheel flanges is 2-3/4”
  • Wheel bearings are lifetime-lubricated, precision ball 
    bearings, providing a minimum of 5000 hours performance in accordance with CMAA specifications
  • Maximum allowable wheel load is 6500 pounds 
    (per pair)
