PRACTICALLY NO RESISTANCE TO AIR FLOW

Ducon Precipitator is actually an open duct; therefore, resistance to air is negligible. This makes it possible to retrofit precipitators into existing systems without major replacement of the duct and the blower.

NO CLOGGING EVER

Since there is no filtration media in Ducon's E-7, there is no clogging that leads to exhaust choking.

HIGH AIR VELOCITY

Unattainable in media filters. Ducon's E-7 will easily perform at duct air velocities, which means that it can be as slim as the duct itself, an important feature in a crowded space.

AUTOMATIC HIGH VOLTAGE POWER GENERATOR

No need for constant monitoring. Everything is automatic.

WIDEST SPACING BETWEEN COLLECTION PLATES

This means less maintenance because wide spacing in Ducon's E-7 can accommodate more dirt before cleaning becomes necessary.

MAINTENANCE

If the collected contaminant is a liquid, it will drain from the collection modules to the bottom and then to the outside of the unit. And if it is not, it must be removed regularly from the precipitator for two reasons: 1) A dirty precipitator has lower performance. 2) Collected contaminant may represent a hazard. Choice of cleaning methods depend upon nature of the collected contaminant to be removed.
