When originally introduced, the Edgetech Instruments X3 chilled mirror hygrometer sensor set the benchmark for performance and value. The X3 sensor’s minimized sample cavity produced rapid dry-down times, fast response and quick detection of upset process conditions.

Following years of success in the field, Edgetech Instruments pushed the technology envelope further by upgrading the X3 sensor for even greater performance. Now with all stainless steel wetted parts and a pressure rating to 300 psi, the new X3 sensor is more chemically resistant in aggressive applications and is capable of achieving –85°C frost point temperature with liquid cooling.

The new X3 chilled mirror hygrometer sensor lowers installation and operating cost by simplifying installation while reducing or eliminating maintenance entirely. It is available with the Edgetech Instruments’ DewMaster and PDM 75-X3 hygrometers for both fixed and field portable use, bringing chilled mirror technology to aggressive applications where drift-free, high precision dew/frost point measurement was not previously possible.
