Pumps for Electronics Cooling applications.

Featured Product from GRI Pumps (A Gorman-Rupp Company)

Server & Electronics Cooling
As cloud-based computing takes the world by storm, the need for faster and larger capacity servers has grown exponentially. When servers run faster, more heat is generated – not a good thing for electronics. GRI serves many large OEMs who use water and glycol cooling loops to maintain their electronics and server’s temperature.

GRI’s leak-free, long-lasting, efficient pumps are trusted around the world to safely pump fluid in critical high dollar applications.

GRI’s Integrity Series Magnetic Drive Circulation pumps are ideal for Electronics Cooling applications. The Integrity Series design brings a flexibility, not offered by the competition, to the Electronics Cooling Market. Unlike other pump companies, GRI manufactures its Integrity Series brushless DC motors, along with the majority of the pump’s components, in-house. GRI’s vertical manufacturing capabilities gives us the ability to customize a pump’s motor to an OEM’s specific performance requirements.

Equipped with a brushless DC motor, the magnetically coupled pumps integrate the components into a compact, leak-free, lightweight design, eliminating motor bearings and leaving the impeller assembly as the only moving part. Fewer parts promote longer life, quieter operation, and lower power consumption.

Options include multiple suction and discharge port configurations, submersibility, third wire speed control, and other OEM options.

GRI is a proud member of The Green Grid – an organization dedicated to improving IT and data center resource efficiency around the world.

Brushless DC Circulation Pumps
The Integrity Series Brushless DC Circulation Pumps are GRI’s newest line of magnetic drive pumps. Designed for the circulation and transfer of fluids, GRI’s integrated magnetic drive circulation pumps bring a uniquely engineered design to GRI’s portfolio of custom OEM pumps.

GRI’s Integrity Series integrates the pump’s components into a compact, lightweight design, eliminating motor bearings and leaving the impeller assembly as the only moving part.

Integrity Series Pumps are designed and manufactured specifically for OEM customization. If you do not find a pump that meets your exact requirements, our dedicated Sales Team will work with you to create a solution specific to your application - whether it is customizing an existing pump or designing new

Since 1953: Not Just Pumps, Pumping Solutions
There are many variables that must be considered when specifying a magnetic drive pump for an OEM application. At first glance you may not find a pump that meets your exact requirements. GRI recommends that you contact our Technical Sales Staff to discuss your project so that the right pump can be specified. Many times we will customize an existing pump to meet your needs or design a new pump according to your system’s exact specifications.

The Importance of Specifying a Pump Early in the OEM Design Process
Check out GRI’s “Emphasis On Pumps” article in the October 2013 issue of MDT magazine.  Knowing the specific fluid pumping requirements of an application upfront in the development process is important. Unfortunately many device and system designers neglect to consider the fluid pumping requirements until late in the design process.

Many times a designer will have to perform costly alterations to systems or devices to make their design compatible with a pump chosen late in the design process. Being that many times a pump is the “heart” of a system, it makes sense to begin the specification process early rather than later. Careful planning saves not only time and money, but also headaches.
