Ideal for protecting instruments and electronic devices in industrial environments, the watertight 1590Z series is constructed of thick diecast aluminum alloy walls and designed to meet IP68 (NEMA 4, 4X, 6, and 6P). These tough enclosures have an impact rating of IK08 per IEC62262.

Available in a wide range of sizes, 1590Z series enclosures come in natural, black, or light gray powder coated finish, and an optional galvanized steel inner panel with grounding hardware is available for most sizes. External mounting holes and lid installation holes sit outside the perimeter of the replacable pre-formed silicone gasket.

NEW - Added in August 2024 is our latest size, the 1590Z180. Measuring 180mm x 180 x 100, this size is available in all three standard finishes (grey, black, and natural), with inner panel option available.
