1590 Series Diecast Aluminum Enclosures
Featured Product from Hammond Manufacturing Company Inc.

Constructed of a tough yet easy to machine aluminum alloy, the 1590 series of diecast enclosures are a stronger alternative to a plastic enclosure and also make great stomp boxes.
Standard versions are designed to meet IP54, while watertight versions include a gasket and stainless steel screws and are designed to meet IP65. Gaskets and watertight hardware can be purchased separately to upgrade a standard enclosure.
Most sizes are also available with a flanged lid or a flanged base, so the enclosure can be easily mounted to a wall, desktop, or even a pedal board.
1590 series boxes come in either a natural aluminum finish or tough black powder coat finish. Some sizes are popular for use as stomp boxes also come in a variety of eye-catching powder coat colors like orange, purple, yellow, and blue.
This series can house a variety of electronic equipment, its low draft angle of 2 degrees or less makes it easy to mount a printed circuit board. Although not expressly designed for EMI/RFI shielding, the enclosures' lap joint design and outside-only powder coat provide improved shielding over other materials like plastic.
