Hammond’s 1591T series provides transparent polycarbonate housing for electronics

Hammond Manufacturing's 1591T series of multipurpose polycarbonate enclosures have a cool transparent look and make ideal housings for printed circuit boards and small electronics. Available in clear, translucent blue, and translucent red, 1591T series enclosures are molded with card guides to accept 1.5mm PC cards.

If an application requires the user to see instruments, LEDs, readouts, or other indicators, the 1591T series makes it possible to retain visibility while providing a secure housing. Transparent red versions are nearly completely transparent to infrared device; transparent blue versions are almost totally transparent to blue, white, and near-white LEDs and readouts; and clear versions are fully transparent.

1591T series enclosures are designed to meet IP54 and assembled via M3 screws secured into brass inserts.  The polycarbonate material carries a UL 94 V-2 flame retardant rating.
