1591XX Series Enclosures

Multipurpose ABS plastic enclosures from Hammond Manufacturing

Hammond’s 1591XX series offers simple, multipurpose plastic housings ideally suited for a variety of electronic components as well as horizontally mounting printed circuit boards. A wide range of sizes are available, with and without mounting flanges, and options molded in flame retardant or economy ABS plastic.

The 1591XX series is designed to meet IP54 and is endlessly adaptable, easy to machine, and economical. Flame retardant versions, molded in UL 94 V-0 rated ABS, include machine screws that thread into integrated brass bushings, which make it ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Economy versions are assembled via self-tapping screws into plastic screw posts.

Available colors include black, gray, and translucent blue. Translucent blue enclosures have a cool, frosted appearance and allow some visibility of LEDs and readouts inside the enclosure.
