Hammond’s 1591 series offers a simple, multipurpose plastic housing for a variety of electronics and vertically mounting printed circuit boards via integral card guides. A wide range of sizes and colors are available, with or without mounting flanges, and in flame retardant or economy ABS plastic. Flanged versions are available with choice of lid or bottom flange.

The 1591 series is designed to meet IP54 and endlessly adaptable, easy to machine, and economical. Flame retardant versions, molded in UL 94 V-0 rated ABS, include machine screws that thread into integrated brass bushings, which make it ideal for repetitive assembly and disassembly. Economy versions are assembled via self-tapping screws into plastic screw posts.

Accessories such as PC board card adapters for horizontal mounting and clear polycarbonate lid alternative for all sizes are available.
