It is a new generation of time-of-flight (ToF) infrared ranging sensor equipped with optimized transmitting and receiving optical lenses. Different from traditional technologies, the measurement accuracy is not affected by the color and reflective of the target. ToF is the abbreviation of Time of Flight. The sensor can continuously send light pulses to the target and receive the returned light. By calculating the flight (round trip) time of these transmitted and received light pulses, the distance from the sensor to the target can be obtained. It can be used in the automotive/logistics industry.
