The Inductotherm ARMS® system is an innovative approach to material handling.  The system uses a robot to perform the full scope of hazardous operations that would otherwise be handled by a furnace operator.  The ARMS® System can perform everything from checking the metal bath grounding, dipping the thermocouple lance, slagging the furnace, taking metal samples and adding any required trim materials.

This system allows the operator to activate the preprogrammed robot, and control the movements of the furnace, charge car, and slag cart.  Ultimately ensuring safety and efficiency for the material handling processes.
