Industrial Magnetics, Inc. recently released a new video highlighting several types of Magnetic Sheet Fanners available to customers, including permanent magnetic, electromagnetic, and on/off air actuated models.

The oily coatings that are applied to sheet metal stock to prevent it from rusting can make it extremely difficult to separate the sheets from one another once they are stacked. A magnetic sheet fanner is designed to fan, or separate the top sheet in a stack, allowing it to be easily removed in either a manual or automated operation, thus increasing production speeds.

Operators typically choose a particular type of magnetic sheet fanner based on factors such a purchase price, operation cost, and application parameters.
