It is no secret that customers over time require thin-film sensors with a better long-term stability with increasing accuracy in a wider and wider temperature range. Due to the excellent long-term stability of the IST AG thin film temperature sensors it is possible not only to guarantee the standard class B (IEC 60751; F 0.3), class A (IEC 60751; F 0.15) or class 1/3IEC 60751; F 0.1, but also even more precise accuracy classes such as 1/5 IEC or 1/10 IEC. IST AG manufactures and supplies various sensor elements in accuracies measured in class 1/5 IEC, 1/6 IEC or even 1/10 IEC over a wide temperature range.
IST sensor products from the PW Series are wired RTD platinum sensors with extended operating temperature range in class A, alternative to the wire wound sensors.
With increased long-term stability, very sable characteristic curve and very low hysteresis they are capable of measuring in class A up to 600oC (short term applicable up to +750oC).
