LadyBug Technologies’ LB5900 Power Sensors span onerational frequencies up to 50Ghz and are available with a variety of connectors and options. In addition to the sensors USB connection, optional direct TTL connectivity, utilizing either SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) or I2C (Inter Integrated Circuit) interfaces is available. This allows direct connection to microcontrollers, FPGA’s and more. The sensor has a dynamic range of -60 dBm to 26 dBm allowing users measurement flexibility and making attenuator selection in high power applications easy.

The advanced RMS responding, two path, diode based sensor, accurately measures signals with any modulation bandwidth. It offers greater measurement speed, dynamic range and sensitivity than thermal sensors, without compromising accuracy.

The LB59000 sensors utilize LadyBug’s patented thermal characterization which eliminates user zeroing and drift. The product’s broad frequency range combined with exceptional sensitivity make them ideal for satellite, radar and ATE applications. Defense users will appreciate the secure erase and non-volatile memory options which allow management of sensor-stored information such as user calibration, FDO tables, and other and stored data.

Users can take advantage of LadyBug’s included Precision Power Meter application, or connect using any of the interfaces for programmatic access. The sensor is recommended for built-in applications, ATE systems, and for general -purpose high accuracy power measurements.
