All of Lee Spring's Stock Springs with the exception of Cadmium Planted MIL-SPEC springs comply with the RoHS Directive (European Directive 2002/95/EC on Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances) for products sold in the European Union after July 1, 2006, restricting the levels of Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic equipment. Lee Spring's stock range includes compression springs,extension springs,torsion springs,battery springs,die springs,continuous length extension springs,metric springs, as well as Belleville washers.
Lee Spring will use Yellow Chromate for plating only when specifically instructed to do so by our customers and in the production of custom products only, since the use of Yellow Chromate cannot be certified as in compliance with the RoHS directive.
