Film adhesives are used primarily for bonding different substrates and surfacing. Typically adhesives are delivered unsupported, reinforced, or with a metal mesh.

Composite Material
Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites, Inc. manufacturing facility utilizes advanced, highly efficient production equipment and technology. This enables us to provide our customers with the advanced composite materials they require.

Our facility can process nearly every high performance fiber including: carbon, glass, aramid, hybrid materials, etcetera.

Equipment includes:

• Uni-tape production at 1m width
• Woven fabric prepreg at 12″ to 62″ width
• Adhesive filming at 50" width
• Towpreg production
• Large capacity resin mixing facility
• Large capacity 0°F and 40°F cold storage

Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites
Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber and Composites (MCCFC) is composed of several companies, but at its core there are two.  In April 2013, two Californian companies, Grafil, a carbon fiber manufacturer in Sacramento and Newport Adhesives and Composites, a prepreg manufacturer in Irvine, were merged to create Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fiber and Composites (MRCFAC); then in 2017, we re-branded to MCCFC.  Since our merge, we have made multiple acquisitions within the United States.  In addition to these acquisitions, we have continued to improve and expand our current facility’s capabilities.  As a proudly American based company with a dedicated focus on responsiveness, quality, and customer support, we are working hard to match the growing global and domestic demand for these advanced materials.
