New Line-up for BLH Series Speed Control Motors

Oriental Motor is pleased to introduce the expansion of the BLH Series brushless motors and drivers. A new driver and expanded motor options is added to the line-up. This new driver is an RS-485 Communication type. Electromagnetic brake options is now available for 30 W (1/50 HP) – 100 W* (1/8 HP) motors.

The new RS-485 Communication Type driver is suited for advanced speed control that requires data setting, monitoring or multiple synchronization. It is the third driver in the BLH Series, in addition to the digital and analog type drivers and is available for the 15 watt, 30 watt and 50 watt type BLH Series motors. The RS-4856 driver is also the newest driver that is supported by the MEXE02 product support software, which is available for free download at the Oriental Motor web site. The MEXE02 software allows for easy setup, extended functions and capabilities, including ease of use programming and monitoring.

They key features of the new BLH Series speed control motor with Electromagnetic brake and new RS-485 Communication Type driver are

  • Increased torque (30 W & 50 W motors)
  • Electromagnetic brake option for 30 W – 100 W motors
  • IP65 rated
  • Up to 13dB less than existing BLH Series

*100 W motors is compatible with the analog driver only.
