Oriental Motor is pleased to announce the expanded line-up of the popular KIIS Series standard AC motors. The new addition to the line-up includes H1 food-grade grease in the gearhead and a stainless steel output shaft for applications intended for food processing and/or packaging.

The KIIS Series is Oriental Motor’s standard in geared AC motors. The new H1 grease KIIS Series 3-phase induction motor uses the NSF registered H1 food-grade grease in its gearhead as lubricant and are available in 60 W (1/12 HP) and 100 W (1/8 HP) power output. KIIS Series induction motors lubricated with H1 grease include a terminal box with IP66 class protection. Eight gear ratios from 5:1 up to 180:1 with life of gearhead rated at 5,000 hours.

The NSF registers grease with H1 designation as food-grade lubricants used in food-processing environments where there is the possibility of incidental food contact.
