Showing Propagation Paths in a Train Station
Featured Product from Remcom (USA)

Wireless InSite’s built-in Communication Systems Analysis tool provides RSSI and SINR for various IEEE standards from 100 MHz to 100 GHz. In this short video, a passenger train located in a station is connected to an access point (AP) mounted on the roof of the station. RF propagation paths computed using the shooting-and-bouncing ray technique are shown. These ray paths arrive at a receiver (Rx) antenna after they reflect and diffract from the environment, where each reflection surface attenuates the signal uniquely due to varied conductivity and permittivity material properties.
