Functionality

• Normal Operation: The movable contact stays closed under spring pressure when the circuit is at a normal temperature.
• Overtemperature Response: At the rated temperature, the bimetal disc deforms, causing the contacts to open and interrupt the circuit.
• Cooling & Reset: Once cooled to the reset temperature, the bimetal disc returns to its original position, closing the contacts and restoring the circuit.
