• Overtemperature Protection: Upon reaching the rated temperature, the bimetal disc deforms, causing the movable contact to disengage from the stationary contact, disrupting the circuit to prevent overheating.
• Reset: As the temperature decreases, the bimetal disc returns to its original position, re-establishing the circuit connection once the reset temperature is reached.
