- Screw terminal connections with two M20 conduit openings
- Thermoplastic housing
PS315 & PS316
- 1.5“ x 1.4“ x 3“
- Screw terminal connections with M20 conduit opening
- Metal (PS315) or thermoplastic (PS316) housing
The PS Series has a modular nature, with many actuator head types, including plungers, roller levers, and a rod lever. The actuation elements can be easily changed, and are field adjustable, to be set in one of 8 positions (45° steps) to meet application requirements.
Models are available with 2 or 3 contacts, in several configurations. The contacts are either snap action (Z) with optional latching (manual reset), or slow action (T) with overlapping, simultaneous, or staggered contacts. All normally closed contacts are positive break, according to IEC 60947-5-1, for use in safety applications. In conjunction with an appropriate safety controller, a single position switch can be used up to PLd; using two position switches, PLe can be achieved according to ISO 13849-1.
Typically used to determine the position or presence of moving parts, work pieces, or conveyed materials, or to monitor the position of rotating or sliding machine guards, these limit switches can be utilized in automation, elevator, and safety applications. They are sealed to be dust tight and withstand strong water jets (IP66) and submersion in water (IP67), suitable for use in in adverse ambient conditions of industrial environments.
