Over a period of time, various factors such as: exposure to contaminants, age, incorrect operation, sensor deterioration, a drift in electronics or exposure to corrosive gases, can contribute to dewpoint instruments losing their accuracy and reliability.

Shaw Moisture Meters specifically design and manufacture hygrometers, dewpoint meters and trace moisture analysers to meet the most demanding industry applications and requirements.
We develop our products to be reliable, easy to install and simple to operate. Conforming to recognised standards of quality and calibration, we are committed to providing the highest quality products and services.

At Shaw Moisture Meters, we advise an annual service and calibration of your dewpoint equipment. However, the calibration interval will depend on the instrument type and usage. We recommend more frequent intervals of service and calibration for instruments used in critical applications or aggressive environments. Regular calibration will help maintain accuracy and traceability.

We offer a full service and calibration of your dewpoint equipment in our environmentally controlled calibration laboratory, encompassing an overall calibration range of -90 °C to +20 °C dewpoint traceable to National and International Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).

Our calibration laboratory engineers perform routine servicing, commissioning, fault finding, repairs and installation services in accordance with our accredited quality system. The work undertaken by our engineers is in accordance with our accredited quality system. We have achieved registration to ISO 9001:2015, the quality system independently audited and certified by Notified Bodies. Whilst all our products are issued with EC and UKCA Declarations of Conformity, we manufacture a range of dew point instruments certified intrinsically safe to ATEX, IECEx and UL standards, with approved suitability for use in hazardous environments.

Turnaround for dewpoint meter calibrations is typically five to seven working days. We provide a detailed report explaining the options and costs for any repairs and supply a generous warranty guaranteeing the equipment’s reliability and performance.

Our guarantee compliments our commitment to deliver an exemplary service every time, providing you with accurate, reliable trace moisture measurement equipment. Ensuring we build and maintain a professional relationship that continues for years to come.
