Force Sensing Tension Links with Pivot Ends

Product Announcement from Strainsert

The Force Sensing Tension Links is another unique strain gage transducer developed by Strainsert. The Tension Links utilize the internal strain gage process perfected by Strainsert during the last forty five years and used so successfully in Strainsert bolts, load pins and load cells. The sensing element consists of a strain gage bridge circuit internally installed in a small hole along the longitudinal axis. The unique arrangement provides a most effective means for the protective sealing of the internal electronics, while minimizing the adverse effects of extraneous torsion and bending loads.

The TLLR and TLLF series of force sensing tension links offer precision force measurement by integrating the tension link into the load path. These links are designed with lug ends (through hole) and are available with ends at 90 degrees, or in-line. Capacities range from 1,000 to 400,000 pounds.
