Thermal Circuits' custom, flexible, etched-foil heaters outperform conventional heating elements and feature excellent physical and electrical properties that result in thermal stability over a wide temperature range.

 Performance & Reliability

Custom, flexible, etched-foil heaters offer excellent performance even under critical operating temperatures from as low as -269°C and can safely operate up to 400°C (higher temperatures depend on the application). For applications below -40°C, a clamping plate should be installed over the heater so that its structure will not be affected by the change in adhesive properties under cold conditions.

Uniform Heating with Superior Thermal Properties

Custom, flexible, etched-foil heaters' thin construction and low thermal-mass designs allow heat to transfer more efficiently than foil imprinted heaters. Uniform part temperatures are assured by matching power.

Heaters with Sensors

Optimizing the utility of a thermal sensor is a critical success factor in every application. To facilitate proper and repeatable integration of thermistors, RTDs, thermal fuses, thermostats, thermocouples, and semiconductor-type thermal sensors. Thermal Circuits' engineers are experienced and trained to integrate state-of-the-art temperature sensing, controlling, and limiting componentry to assure accuracy, repeatability, and quality.                 

Easy Installation

Custom, flexible, etched-foil heaters are easy to install. If psa is supplemented, simply remove the back adhesive liner and apply to the surface of the item to be heated. For high wattage density, use a pressure plate to fix the heater in place. Custom, flexible, etched-foil heaters do not have abrupt protruding lead-egress areas, hence they allow the pressure plates to fully cover the heaters without having to cut or trim the clamping metal to incorporate the lead-egress area.
