Mansfield, Texas, USA – April 4, 2007 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the only distributor to release a new catalog every 90 days, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with LedEngin, a leader in Ultra High Brightness LED emitters and light source modules. LedEngin manufactures ultra-small, ultra-bright, ultra-cool LED components and light source modules ideal for space-constrained applications. LedEngin’s new LZ line of Ultra-High Brightness LEDs has the world’s smallest footprint 1W, 3W, 5W, 10W, and 15W LED emitters. The single die 1W, 3W, and 5W LEDs come in 4.4mm ultra-small, surface-mount packages, while the 4 dice 10W and 15W LEDs are available in 7mm packages. The LZ line is offered in red, green, blue, dental blue Infrared (IR), Ultra Violet (UV), and white color options with lumen maintenance exceeding an average of 90% after 50,000 hours.
