Overview

Specifying electrical insulation materials is not as straight forward as it may seem. This presentation will demonstrate how different test methods can result in very different product life expectations. It will also show how materials of the same rating can have dramatically different thermal capabilities, even when tested under the same conditions. Attendees will learn how to compare test results for different materials and use this data to predict life expectancy for their electrical equipment applications.

Key Takeaways

  • Discover key test methods for evaluating electrical insulation materials and systems
  • Learn how to compare temperature ratings of materials based on different test methods
  • Understand key factors in choosing materials to meet product life expectations
