Overview

STM32 MCUs are embedding more and features, offering more and more diversity with different sets of IPs and possibilities. A strong ecosystem is therefore the only possibility for benefiting from this portfolio without having to reinvent the wheel each time you switch from one STM32 to another. This presentation will explain the different firmware offers that STM32 can propose, and the way to move from previous MCUs to brand new ones. We will also go through the different PC tools that accompany and support the engineers to build, load, and measure an application. Lastly, we will go through the added value firmware libraries that STM32 can offer in terms of safety, motor control and graphics.

Key Takeaways

  • Understand the different STM32 firmware offers and how to switch from library to an other
  • Discover the way to add an additional library to the STM32-based firmware
  • Learn about the different PC tools offered by STM32
  • Understand the STM32 offer in terms of graphics and how to integrate it in a project
  • Discover the STM32 offer with regards to functional safety and motor control
