Overview

At the heart of Industry 4.0 are smart factories which enable maximized performance, assurance of high quality, reduced risk of human error, optimizations through data analysis, and minimized downtime with predictive maintenance.

With the potential that Industry 4.0 brings, it's easy to see why embedded developers are seeking new and optimized solutions that allow for the offloading of real-time critical tasks from the processor, while enabling more diagnostics, predictive maintenance and AI, and secured systems.

Join us for this webinar as we dive into the components and system solutions available for Industry 4.0. We will look closely at the hardware required, including features of industrial microcontrollers that serve as the brains behind motor control, intelligence, secure communication and data processing. We will specifically look at the new XMC7000 single/dual-core Arm® Cortex®-M7 solution from Infineon that brings added memory, support for hardware security, and delivers a comprehensive set of advanced peripherals, real-time control, and the ability to operate in high ambient environments. We will also explore software solutions that enable sophisticated motor control, including ModusToolbox™ software for a common development experience across platforms.

Lastly, we will see a robotic arm demo video that shows the purpose-built XMC7000 industrial MCU in action.
