Help with Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) Electrodes specifications:
Performance Specifications
Back to Top
ORP Range | The oxygen-reduction potential range of the probe. ORP reading is usually given in mV.
Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
ORP Accuracy | The oxygen-reduction potential accuracy of the probe. ORP accuracy is usually given in mV.
Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
Response Time | The response time of the electrode. Usually something like: 95% in 10 seconds.
Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value less than or equal to the specified value.

Electrode Configuration:
Your choices are... | |||
Single Cell / No Reference | Single cells require separate reference electrodes. These may also be called electrode pair, best choice for colloidal suspensions, iodides in sample, and high percentage of solids in fluid.
Combination | Electrode is composed of two parts, the measuring electrode and the reference electrode. This is the most common configuration and is best for laboratory or field applications.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Reference Solution Options:
Your choices are... | |||
Refillable | Liquid filled devices that require periodic refilling, typically higher accuracy.
Sealed | Gel or solid-filled devices that require almost no maintenance typically have a limited life span.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Junction Type: | |||
Your choices are... | |||
Single Junction | A reference electrode contains a single electrolyte. The electrolyte provides a constant level of the ion sensed by the reversible reference element and forms a low-junction potential liquid junction with the sample solution.
Double Junction | A double junction reference electrode has an additional reference cell in front of the potassium chloride cell, which screens the sample from the potassium chloride reference cell. Typically has longer time response.
Other | Other unlisted junction type.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Mounting Options: | |||
Your choices are... | |||
Hand Held or Portable | Typically used for laboratory purposes.
In-Line (Insertion) | Allows for insertion/retraction without disturbing line flow. May also include "side stream" types.
Flow Thru (Pipeline) | Typically comes with integral flanges or other pipe connection means to place directly into existing pipeline.
Other | Other unlisted mounting option.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Body Material: | |||
Your choices are... | |||
Glass | Glass body electrodes are typically used in laboratory applications and for materials, which may affect epoxy or polymer electrodes.
Epoxy or Polymer | Typically more durable than glass body styles and are most often gel-filled.
Other | Other unlisted body material.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Features

Your choices are... | |||
Temperature Sensor | Electrode also has built-in sensor for measuring temperature.
Temperature Compensated | Electrode is compensated for rapid changes in temperature.
Food / Sanitary | Electrode is designed for sanitary applications, and usually involves materials that are easily cleaned and sanitized.
Measures pH | An electrode whose output voltage changes as the pH changes.
Submersible / Water Resistant | The electrode can be submersed.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
