About

Torch Boosters
Torch Boosters connect to a utility gas pipe and boost pressure as high as 150 psi / 10 bar for direct supply to torches, shop manifolds, cutting tables, bevelers and other equipment. No cylinders to change, no on-site gas storage - never run out of fuel gas! G-TEC Torch Boosters are approved for installation in buildings where cylinders of acetylene, propane and other gases are prohibited.
Standard Duty Torch Boosters are designed to run up to 12 hours per day in environments where ambient temperature is between 40F to 90F, maximum working pressure is 45 psi and where occasional downtime, such as after an electrical interruption, is acceptable.
Refuelers, Cylinders and Manifolds
Refuelers connect to your building’s standard low pressure natural gas service and let you fill G-TEC Adsorbed Natural Gas cylinders to 275 psi to make high pressure natural gas portable in the shop or on the road. G-TEC Refuelers let you fill your own cylinders with high-pressure natural gas for portable torch applications. Once started the filling process is automatic and Refuelers turn themselves off when cylinders are full.
Torch Applications
No matter how you use your torch natural gas has 4 important benefits:
- Save mone - natural gas is up to 80% cheaper than acetylene, half the cost of propane
- Better quality work - whether you cut plate steel, braze cooper pipe or glaze ham, natural gas works better
- Be more productive - no time wasted changing fuel gas cylinders and never run out at a critical time
- Make your workplace safer - natural gas is safer than any other fuel gas and you get stored gas out of your building
G-TEC Torch Boosters are Certified By CSA-International.
CSA International is accredited in the United States by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), and in Canada by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
In most jurisdictions in North America the CSA label on the G-TEC Torch Booster is sufficient for approval by building inspectors, fire marshals and other authorities.
