The Hydra-Cell pump has the ability to run dry indefinitely and handle small solids and abrasives at pressures of up to 2500 PSI.

Ensure that the suction line is at least one size bigger than the pump inlet opening. It should be short, and as direct as possible. Preferably, no longer then six feet with no elbows. Use non-collapsible, flexible hose and/or expansion joints to absorb vibration and ensure the feed is level with no high points where vapor can collect.
Should a pump become partially starved of inlet fluid, the pump will continue to run thanks to the Kel-Cell. This system safeguards the diaphragm in the event of abnormal or fault conditions which would cause it to operate out of hydraulic balance. Starvation can easily be identified by the change in the sound of the pump as it operates under partial vacuum conditions.

Wanner Engineering's T80 Series pumps are designed to replace packed plunger pumps and their associated problems. They provide zero leakage; can run dry without damage; will operate with a closed or blocked suction line; and can effectively pump abrasive fluids. The T8045, the first in this series of pumps, has a flow rate of 1500 BPD at 3000 PSI. Soon to be released are the T80100 (3200 BPD at 1440 PSI) and the T8030 (1000 BPD at 4500 PSI).
