Navitar's 3.5X Fisheye Conversion Lens (1-24207) is designed to work with lower cost projectors that do not have replaceable lenses. This is an ideal solution for planetariums that want to upgrade their existing systems, but can't afford to buy new projectors or replacement lenses. The new 3.5X Fisheye will also work in many applications where users simply want to project a very wide projector angle onto a curved screen, such as simulation, immersive environments, and amusement parks.

Navitar HemiStar 100°/160°/180°/360° Fisheye lenses allow for single projector/lens presentation solutions for multiple applications. Ideal for projection on small planetarium domes, front projection into immersive environments or globe-shaped digital signage applications, HemiStar lenses allow you to project 360° images inside spherical display systems.

High Lumen Lenses

Navitar has developed lenses that work with traditional Xenon based light engines up to 40K ANSI lumens as well as 6P platforms up to 60K ANSI lumens. We have over 500 lenses installed on 1.38" DLP platforms for digital cinema applications which see 35K ANSI lumens on a daily basis.

Our designs are engineered for peak power and continual thermal cycles through on/off routines. Navitar lenses currently achieve contrast ratios in excess of 400:1.

Navitar ScreenStar wide-angle and long throw telephoto conversion lenses sit in front of your projector's standard lens to increase your picture size or increase your throw distance by 20-300%. These lenses decrease the overall cost of installations by allowing you to reduce the number of projectors being used or by selecting a lower cost, less featured projector.

HD ScreenStar wide angle conversion lenses are specifically designed to match the performance of HD projectors. When placed in front of the projector's existing prime lens, the image size or throw distance can be changed with no loss of image quality in the conversion.

These highly-corrected lens systems, optimized for 1080P resolution, also complement other formats such as WXGA, WUXGA, WQXGA and smaller format 2K. These lenses support high resolution graphics and video input as required in training and simulation applications.

The Navitar SSC065 Mini ScreenStar lens provides the same amount of magnification as the HDSSW06 wide-angle conversion lens, yet in a more compact version. The Mini ScreenStar lens is specifically designed to match the performance of HD 1080p projector resolution and is ideal for small profile, low cost projectors with panel sizes of 0.74" or smaller.
