Product Description: Improve reservoir insight and accurately assess geomechanical risks The Baker Hughes JewelSuite™ GeoMechanics software suite provides a proven workflow to help you optimize your well plans and define a safe operating window to maximize drilling performance, minimize drilling risk, and improve safety. With the JewelSuite GeoMechanics software, you can calculate geomechanical models and analyze wellbore stability from well logs and drilling data.
For geomechanical models, you can calculate overburden, formation pore, and fracture pressure, as well as rock mechanical properties and horizontal stresses. For wellbore stability analysis, you can plan wells by calculating a critical mud weight window and a casing design corresponding to wellbore failure criteria; evaluate drilling risk for proposed well plans by forecasting borehole stability along the well trajectory for a proposed mud program; and perform quantitative risk analysis. In addition, you can access real-time or playback drilling data (wells, trajectories, and logs) from remote locations.
JewelSuite GeoMechanics software enables you to reliably predict abnormal pressure incidents during drilling to mitigate kicks, blowouts, and lost circulation. You can also reliably predict wellbore stability issues during drilling to mitigate wellbore collapse, tight hole, stuck pipe, excessive hole cleaning, fishing, kicks, lost circulation, formation damage, casing deformation, and sidetracks. Further, you can overcome the limitations of the predrill analysis by reducing inherent uncertainties during drilling, resulting in more accurate and reliable predictions of abnormal pressure events and wellbore instability ahead of the drill bit.
You can use JewelSuite GeoMechanics software independently or as part of an advanced integrated geomechanical workflow with other new Baker Hughes geomechanics applications: 3D Static GeoMechanics for the migration of 1D well-centric models to 3D reservoir-centric models, 3D Dynamic GeoMechanics for full-field finite-element geomechanical simulations, 3D Fault Slip Analysis for critically stressed faults and fractures, and JewelSuite Geologic Modeling for 3D seismic pore pressure prediction. You can use these applications together seamlessly, exchange data between them via shared files, and drag and drop data between them.
