The CentriFill™ 3000 is a fully automatic filling system that integrates a CentriFill™ head with a mounted, motorized conveyor system, and the required sensors and electronics controllers required to accurately move, position and fill containers, boxes or bags and then move the filled containers onward through your process. The fill cycle is fully automated and all of the processes are controlled with the integrated CentriFill™ electronics package. The automatic fill cycles can be controlled locally via the CentriFill™ electronics or can be integrated into your process' PLC control system. A variety of custom options are available for the CentriFill™ 3000 filler system as well.

The CentriFill™ 2000 is a gravimetric, Semi-Automatic Fill-To-Weight filler designed for larger containers including drums, bulk bags, gaylords or even trucks and railcars. The CentriFill™ 2000 has a modular design so that the base can be customized for nearly any application. As with the CentriFill™ 1000, fill cycles can be initiated locally via a contact closure, or can be controlled through a PLC via Ethernet/IP communication. Sophisticated, "smart" controls allow for simple, automatic error correction and accept/reject tolerance control. Customizable rotating discharge spouts are also available for drum filling applications in which multiple barrels on a pallet are being filled.

The CentriFill™ is available in a variety of configurations for easy installation into nearly any process. The CentriFill™ 1000 is a gravimetric Fill-To-Weight filler designed to deliver a specific, weighed quantity of product. The CentriFill™ 1000 quickly and accurately fills any bag, box or container 10 lb or more in weight without the tedious and time consuming "bulk and dribble" that most fillers are plagued with. Fill cycles can be initiated manually via a contact closure, or can be controlled through a PLC via Ethernet/IP communication. Sophisticated, "smart" controls allow for simple, automatic error correction and accept/reject tolerance control.

Building on the precision of the CentriFlow® and speed of the CentriFeeder™ Meter’s fraction of a second start/stop capabilities, the CentriFill 1000, available in 6”, 12” and 24” models, offers revolutionary capabilities for quickly and accurately filling virtually any container with flowable, granular solids in a variety of industries. Featuring customizable touch-screen HMI electronics and optional foot pedal activated batch start capabilities, the CentriFill® 1000 offers exceptional customization, unlimited ease of use and extremely fast and accurate fills for any granular product, including nuts, beans, wood pellets, plastics, chemical granules, candies, cereals, animal feed and more.

The CentriFeeder^™ with Integrated Control Valve or ICV, accurately measures and controls the flow of any dry, free‐flowing solid. Using a highly customizable touch screen HMI integrated with a low rpm, AC, Brushless Servo, a PID control loop is established to control the ICV feeding our patented CentriFlow^® Meter. For precise measurement and control, an Integral Linear Position Sensor is used to regulate the blade’s position to within 1 part in 1000 (based on stroke). The blade’s movement can then be monitored via the CentriView^® Electronics, or read manually via the mechanical indicator on the exterior of the valve. For delicate products, the CentriFeeder with ICV is equipped with a Virtual Flow Stop^™ function which stops flow with virtually no damage to your product. The outcome is an easily maintained, consistent flow that can, under some conditions, be controlled over a 100:1 range for both batching and ratio‐control applications.

SYSTEM SOLUTIONS

SINGLE UNIT
For simple and accurate measurement and control of a single product, a single CentriFeeder^™ can be equipped with a standard electronics and HMI. This simple but effective setup can be used for a variety of applications including blending, batching and more.
MULTIPLE UNITS
For accurate measurement and control of multiple products, multiple CentriFeeder^™ devices can be utilized, along with standard electronics and HMI programming working independently of one another.
RECIPE BATCHING AND BLENDING
For the accurate implementation of a recipe of multiple products during a batching or a blending application, multiple CentriFeeder^™ devices can be linked to a centralized, master HMI that controls the flow of multiple products via the recipe entered into the Master HMI.

OPTIONS

Air Purge System

The Air Purge System fills the back casing of the meter with instrument quality air, thereby creating positive pressure, to keep condensation, dust, and other matter form interfering with the measurement transducer.

High Temperature Option

The High Temperature Option should be used when process material exceeds 120° F. The air assists in keeping the casing internal temperature down and also utilizes a Stainless Steel Barrier with High Temperature Foam.

VibraWeigh^®

The VibraWeigh^® option keeps small particle size materials down to 10 to 50 microns from building up on the pan surface. This is important in order to keep the process product flowing through the meter and sliding on the Pan Liner. Build up that might divert or impede the flow could result in inaccurate measurement.

Explosion Proof System #1

The Explosion Proof System #1 is a pressurization or purging system that is used when the CentriFlow^® Meter and its electronics are required to be in a Class II, Division 2 area. This unit prevents the entrance of combustible dust into the CentriFlow^® Meter and its electronics, by manually removing any dust and then applying a protective gas supply to maintain a “safe” pressure of 1 inch of water. Power can then be applied to the protected equipment under conditions established by the Division Rating. This unit can be mounted nearby the CentriFlow^® Meter Electronics, tubed to the electronics enclosure and casing of meter and then referenced from either the enclosure or casing of meter.

Explosion Proof System #2

The Explosion Proof System #2 is a purging system that is used when the CentriFlow^® Meter and its electronics are required to be in a Class I, Division 2 area. The unit prevents the entrance of flammable gas or vapor to accumulate within the CentriFlow^® Meter and its electronics, by performing four air exchanges and then applying a positive pressure to maintain a “safe” pressure of 0.25 inches of water. Power can then be applied to the protected equipment under conditions established by the Division Rating. This unit can be mounted nearby the CentriFlow^® Meter Electronics, tubed to the electronics enclosure and casing of meter and then referenced from either the enclosure or casing of meter.

Engineered to Order

Eastern Instruments’ Engineering Department works in conjunction with their customers to evaluate and review existing process systems to optimize performance and efficiency utilizing the CentriFlow^® Meter.

The CentriFeeder® line of feeders allow for both an accurate, real-time flow measurement, as well as a near perfect control of flow rate and total. For blending applications, control the flow rate of an individual ingredient, or combine several CentriFeeders for near perfect recipe control. If you are controlling ingredients entering a batching process, use the CentriFeeder for controlling the total of one or more ingredients entered into the batch.

The CentriFeeder™ with Integrated Vibratory Control accurately measures and controls the flow of any dry, free‐flowing solid that can be transported via a vibratory conveyor. Through the use of a highly customizable touch screen HMI, a PID control loop is established that regulates the vibratory conveyor feeding our patented CentriFlow® Meter. The outcome is an accurate, easily maintained, consistent flow that can be used for mixing, ratio control or even recipe based blending.

The Railcar and Truck Loadout System allows you to fill trucks and railcars both accurately and dependably. The system ensures extremely accurate weighing accuracy and state of the art fill accuracy for simple and reliable loadout. The system includes a CentriFlow in-line flow measurement system as well as the compartment filling software that offers a programmable Auto Sequencer that retains filling sequences for multiple compartments. The adaptability of the CentriFlow Meter allows for the Railcar and Truck Loadout System to be used for nearly any product including grains, plastics and even hard to flow powders.
