Design

TLF.... Filter housing for breathing and ventilation with changeable filter element inside. Design

Filter Element

Application

Filtering hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils and liquids. Suitable for assembly into pipelines. Used where continuous operation is required and where interrupting operation for the purpose of filter maintenance must be avoided.

Design

These filters consist of two welded steel construction filter housings connected by stub pipes via a control housing with segment changeover. The inlet and outlet connections are on the same side with the inlet on the top. The changeover mechanism makes changeover of the fluid flow possible from the contaminated to the clean filter housing without cross-section reduction. The filter top covers are provided with vent arrangements while the housings are provided with drain arrangements. The filters are mounted either with two angle plates or on legs.

Description

The 40/160-LD/LDN series Filters are used for direct installation in the pipeline and provide wear protection of downstream components & systems. Duplex in design for inline mounting the filter inlet & outlet are located the opposite sides. The flow path arrow (inlet to outlet) is marked on filter head. The Filter head is provided with two element locating spigots - one in each housing - and a change-over valve with metal to metal sealing and integral pressure equalization valve. The change-over handle points to the housing in operation. The integral pressure equalization is activated when the change-over handle is lifted to effect change over and deactivated once the change-over handle is released at the end position. The Filter bowls are mounted below the filter head and unscrewed for maintenance.

Application

Designed for operating at pressures up to 16 bar and for mounting directly on to the oil tank, thus filtering the oil immediately before reuse. The duplex return line filters DR series are designed to be used when an uninterrupted flow is required or when maintenance time is to be kept to a minimum.

Construction

Special star pleated filter media that is mounted on a perforated support tube. Coreless design also available. Glued with a 2-component adhesive in a longitudinal direction and with metal / plastic end-caps. Sealed with O-ring or profile seal.
