Spring applied, electric released, it is suitable for holding duty and emergency for applications such as theatrical stage lifts, elevators and cranes. The MK1400 is capable of producing a maximum 1,400 LBF of braking force with up to 210 VDC release voltage and 100 VDC holding voltage. Mounted on pins allowing for axial movement, it has an optional manual release mechanism for a momentarily brake release with a standard open-end or socket wrench.
