The Model 144 is a compact vibration monitoring system with two single-channel modules mounted in a 6”H x 8”W x 12”D carry case. Constant current excitation is provided for an accelerometer charge converter, whose signal is tightly filtered and monitored for exceeding a front-panel-set level. If the level is exceeded, relay contacts complete an external alarm circuit. A 4-20mA output also transmits the vibration level to other continuous monitor-ing equipment. It features three output modes: displacement output at discrete frequency, 3 1/2 digit readout of RMS-DC output, and
relay trip protection.

The Model 149 is an economical two-channel-per-module charge amplifier that plugs into Encore's 19" GPSC instrumentation rack, which accommodates up to eight modules (16 channels). An AC power supply is built into the rack, and provides the required unregulated DC voltages to operate the modules. A continuously adjustable ten-turn locking dial selects acceler-ometer sensitivity from 1 to 110pC/g. Outputs are AC acceleration, and RMS/DC displacement. A front panel pushbutton or remote CAL command applies a 1000pC 350Hz calibration signal to both channels simultaneously.

The Model 176 is a computer-controlled charge amplifier module. It features variable gain and output scaling and will accept differential or single-ended inputs. The following parameters are displayed and adjustable: accelerometer sensitivity, differential or single-ended mode, scaling, filter setting, external
cal, zero mode.

The Model 664 is a two-channel computer-controlled dynamic strain gage amplifier module. The following parameters are displayed and are adjustable: gain, zero, external cal, filter, excitation and excitation monitor. Each channel has its own isolated constant current excitation source.

The Model 665 is a combo computer-controlled static/dynamic strain gage amplifier module. The following parameters are displayed and are adjustable: gain, zero, external cal, filter, excitation and excitation monitor. Each channel has its own isolated constant current excitation source.

Description

The Model 221 is a 19" wide x 5" high x 14" deep benchtop unit that can be rack mounted. Rack mount brackets are available. Operation of the unit is over a wide band of frequencies from 0.5Hz to 76,800Hz. The output is in both 16-bit digital and analog voltage format.

Description

The Model 225 digital frequency to voltage converter (shown right) can be configured in a seven module rack (shown below) or two module carry case. A power supply module provides the required unregulated DC voltages to operate the system. Operation of the unit is over a wide band of frequencies from 0.5Hz to 25,600Hz. The output is in both 16-bit digital and analog voltage format. Two switch-selectable precision calibration points are available in each module

The Model FL228 is a wide band, analog frequency
to voltage converter. It is a no frills unit with fixed frequency range and noise discrimination level. Externally-accessible trimpot controls allow adjustment of output offset and fullscale voltage. The unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with Encore's other Flexi-line DIN-rail mounted instrumentation.

The Model 619M is a low cost differential amplifier useful in test environments where high CMRR is desired. Encore's Model 227
F/V converter can also be used in the six-module 4015-111 rack. An
AC power supply is built into the rack, and provides the required unregulated DC voltages to operate the modules. Single- and two-module benchtop carrying cases are also offered.

The Model FL651 Differential Amplifier is a minimal-feature fixed gain amplifier module. Differential input signals up to ±10V are buffered to the output terminal. The unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with Encore's other Flexi-line DIN-rail mounted instrumentation.

The Model FL644 Isolation Amplifier is available in several versions, offering either gain or attenuation of an input signal. In all versions, the input is isolated from the output by up to 1000VDC. The unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with Encore's other Flexi-line DIN-rail mounted instrumentation.

The Model 5020-102 rack adapter offers complete remote control of all signal conditioner settings through an industry-standard Ethernet interface and remote web browser. No additional software needs to be installed to operate the system. In addition, the rack can be controlled by other software (such as LabView) via the Ethernet interface. The rack can accommodate a range of signal conditioning modules.

The Model 663 is a combination amplifier and integrator for accelerometer signals. One integration stage is provided, converting acceleration into velocity. The unity gain frequency of the integrator is factor-trimmed to 60Hz. Two outputs are provided per accelerometer–a buffered copy of the acceleration, and the integrated velocity output. Prior to the integration stage, a gain of ten may be applied with a front-panel toggle switch. The Model 663 is a two-channel module, providing signal conditioning for two accelerometers. A total of 16 channels can be provided in
a 5.25" high 19" rack mount.

The Model FL424 is a dual-channel thermocouple conditioner with cold junction compensation for type K thermocouples. A version for type J is also available. Front panel offset and span adjustments are provided for calibration. The unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with Encore's other Flexi-line DIN-rail mounted instrumentation.

The Model FL646 Thermocouple Isolation Amplifier conditions a millivolt input from a thermocouple temperature probe. The input is isolated from the output by up to 1000VDC. The unit is mechanically and electrically compatible with Encore's other Flexi-line DIN-rail mounted instrumentation.

The Model FL230 is a voltage-controlled oscillator, producing 0-5V output pulses at a frequency proportional to a voltage or current input signal. Accuracy is within ±0.25% from 5% to 110% fullscale input. For the FL230-005, the operating range is -0.6V to +3.4V, allowing operation at zero input signal. The fullscale output frequency can be factory-set to any desired range, up to 50kHz.
