Jiujiang Ingiant Technology rotary unions are available with two different balanced and microlapped sealing assemblies:
O Seal (Standard Sealing) with carbon graphite to carbide seals for application with filtered water.
N Seal (Heavy duty sealing) with carbide to carbide seals for poor filtrated water or abrasive fluids.
Fluid pressure over 8 bar is allowed only when the fluid is cool water at max temperature 125°F (50°C). Do not use the unions at max application limits without consulting from Ingiant.

Balanced seal rotary unions are generally used with fluid service (e.g. water, coolant, etc.), but can be used with steam and other gases. Balanced seal technology relies on optimizing the spring pressure to create a positive seal within the rotary union. The operating pressure of the media has little, if any, effect on the seal load. Balanced seals are typically flat face seals and the rotary unions are supported by ball bearings.

4. The rotating joint of fluid medium shall be gradually heated to avoid sudden temperature change.

5. Check the wear condition and thickness change of the sealing surface (generally, the normal wear is 5--10mm); Observe the friction track of the sealing surface to see if there are three intermittent points, scratches and other problems. If there is any problem, replace it immediately.

6. The rotary joint shall be handled with care and shall not be impacted to avoid loss of joint components.
