Solvent-free, expanding, high strength body and frame structural epoxy foam. TEROSON® EP 1432 is a dark gray, solvent-free, expanding, high strength body and frame structural epoxy foam. The uncured material is resistant to washing and phosphating solutions in normal use in the automotive industry and to electro-dip painting. The final part gets its geometric shape i.e. by extrusion and cutting in combination with or without melting foil.

Magnetic reinforcing patch

Tacky magnetic, non-expanding heat curing epoxy sealant laminated to a fiberglass reinforcing layer. Used to reinforce and stiffen body panels, thin metal sections or high stress areas.

Reinforcing patch

One component, expandable panel stiffener based on Epoxy / Rubber. Solvent-free w/ good adhesion to oily surfaces. Cure while passing the EC-oven. Increases stiffness, strength, fatigue limits and vibration behavior of vehicle body panels.

Heat curing, rubber based, weldable sealer in a tape form. The material has low expansion during e-coat over bake (15-65%)

High expansion weld tape sealer

Heat curing, rubber based, weldable sealer in a tape form. The material has high expansion during e-coat over bake to enable gaps to be filled (100-200%).

High expansion NVH Tape

Heat cured, body shop appliedm tacky high expansion material used in NVH applications to fill pillars and cavities. Expansion 1000%

Constrained layer damper

Self adhering, non-reactive deadening patch based on butylrubber with aluminum foil or plastic on the visible surface. Effective against structure-borne noise vibration and the noise resulting from metal and plastic components.

Semi-structural, very low expanding tape

Heat curing, solvent free, self adhering sealing strip based on rubbers. Because of the high viscosity, it shows excellent sag resistance and is wash-off resistant without pregelling or precuring against aqueous cleaning and pretreatment agents used in the automotive body shop lines. Can be painted after curing. The cured material exhibits high strength and is little dependent on changes in temperature. Adheres well to oily steel sheets, aluminum and zinc coated surfaces. Expansion ~15%
