HOFER Compressor Technologies are leaders in the design and manufacturing of compressors for the inflator filling of air bags and isostatic presses.

Diaphragm compressors are used for lubricant-free compression of different gases, such as e. g. nitrogen, hydrogen, helium, argon, ethylene, NF3, hydrosulphide, chlorine gas, oxygen, monosilan etc., as well as for gas mixtures. They can be used for filling of storage vessels, for feeding into continuous processes or as gas circulating compressors.

HOFER compressors are designed for continuous operation.

Design according to the application and depending on the specific operating conditions. All machines are water-cooled and designed for continuous operation.

Standard HOFER piston compressors are equipped with crank drives for foundation-free installation. For special applications (e.g. pressurizing systems for isostatic presses), non-lubricated piston compressors up to 58,800 psi (4,000 bar) with hydraulic drive are used.

Generally, non-lubricated piston compressors with crank drive are limited to 2,300 psi – 2,900 psi (160 – 200 bar), depending on the compressed gas. For achieving higher pressures with oil-free compression this type of machine, can be equipped with a final diaphragm stage.

Each compressor will be designed and manufactured in accordance to customer’s specification.
